Stephen "Steve" Brooks was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, but has been living in Winter Haven, Florida, since he was two years old. He maintains close ties with and is actively involved in the Winter Haven community. Steve graduated from Stetson University College of Law in St. Pete, Fl, in 1986. He is a Personal Injury Attorney and Managing Partner of the Brooks Law Group. As such, he is a member of the Polk County Trial Lawyers Association and the Florida Bar Association. He is a specialist in injury and accident law and has published several books on the subject. Each year from 2009 through 2021, Steve has been selected as one of the Top 100 trial lawyers in the State of Florida by the National Trial Lawyers Association.
